Meet Lanie! Lanie is a 6 month lab mix. Lanie has been greeting guests at the door, by inappropriately barking and nipping at their legs. She’s also been growling at her Mom. Her Mom wasn’t sure if the growls are for attention or aggression.

In our work together, we have identified her growly behavior as attention seeking. We began to teach Lanie what behavior we like when guest come to visit. We also introduced leash handling skills, to clean up her daily walks.

I’m so proud of Lanie and her Mom, for the exemplary work they’re doing together.
