Group Classes – Basic Obedience

We are excited to offer group classes.  In our Basic Obedience Class, you will learn to build obedience skills, basic leash handling, basic dog training concepts and engagement.

Areas of focus will include…

Come when called (recall), sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, leash walking and waiting politely for a treat.

This class is for dogs 8 months or older, and limited to 8 dogs per class.

Group classes will be held at Pet Village of Brentwood. Dogs must be people friendly, dog friendly and up to date on vaccines (including Kennel Cough). Group classes are TBD.

Cost: $200/4 (1 hr) group sessions.  Full class fee is due at sign-up and is non-refundable/non-transferrable.  You will need to bring your dogs vaccination record with you to the first session.  We will have veterinary staff available to update any delinquent vaccinations onsite, prior to class.

If you wish to enroll 2 or more dogs into the class, you must have 1 family member as a handler (over the age of 12) for each dog.  This class is not intended to address aggression or problem solve behaviors.  If you have a dog showing signs of aggression or in need of behavior modification, you will need to contact us prior to enrolling in the class.

There are no make-up classes.  If you miss a class, we welcome you to attend the remaining classes that are in your group class series.  Please bring no more than 2 people per family, ideally only 1 person per family.  To stay on target and focus on training your dog, please do not bring children under the age of 8 years of age.
